Services – Professional hygiene
Our services include removing dental plaque and calculus sub- and supragingivally.
- Sand-blasting and polishing, which involves removing deposits using a mixture of water and aluminum oxygen molecules under high pressure and then smoothing the surface of the teeth using special rubbers and discs so as to ensure maximum protection against accumulation of plaque and calculus.
- Scaling- removing calculus using ultrasound – this includes gingival pockets, i.e. those areas which we cannot reach with a tooth brush.
- Another procedure that we have recently introduced at our surgery is teeth remineralisation using a liquid enamel produced by the company GC. This supplements any fluoride and calcium deficiencies, thus leaving the enamel stronger and more resistant to the influence of external factors. This method is especially recommended after teeth whitening and professional hygiene procedures, in cases of sensitive teeth, and when the patient uses fixed orthodontic appliances

These procedures are recommended twice a year for healthy teeth. Our surgery also provides detailed instruction in oral hygiene and we also sell the most effective hygiene maintenance agents.
